Many waters cannot quench the flame of love, neither can the floods drown it. If a man tried to buy it with everything he owned, he couldn’t do it.

Our Love Story
Every story has a beginning. Ours began with a quiet connection that felt instantly familiar. What started as a first date in London grew into long conversations, shared prayers, and spontaneous adventures.
Now, with hearts full of gratitude, we step into forever, anchored by the story God is writing, we invite you to hear our hearts through the soundtrack of our journey.

The Proposal
Dami travelled to Lagos while Jare went on a holiday she had helped him plan. They stayed connected through video calls and updates of their trips like always. What Dami didn't know was Jare had secretly plotted a surprise with her friends and family.
One evening, thinking she was attending a friends dinner (he even helped her prepare), Dami walked in to her favourite song and a beautiful setup. Her jaw dropped as she spotted Jare, standing there in Lagos.
In a private moment, he dropped to one knee and asked the question. Dami said yes. Friends and family rushed in to celebrate, and the journey to "I do" began.

First of all, Introduction!
Next came the introduction and as tradition required, Dami’s parents hosted the gathering that brought both families together. The Yoruba introduction ceremony marked the formal start of the wedding journey.
Our families exchanged greetings, shared laughter and got to know each other. Then, with a smile, Dami introduced Jare to everyone.
Food and drinks flowed, music filled the air and It was a wonderful day.

Legally Hitched!
Earlier this year, we had a small and happy moment where we legally became husband and wife.
It was a simple day, with a few loved ones around, and a lot of smiles.
We are thankful for that beginning and even more excited to now celebrate properly with all of you.
