🫣 Track 01: Soft Open - The First Date
London. A little chilly, a little uncertain. We went out for what was meant to be just a date. But from that very first conversation, something shifted. It wasn’t nerves or pressure, it was ease. Like we had known each other forever, like a new favourite song playing you didn’t know you needed. We laughed easily. We lingered. We weren’t in a rush. The night didn’t shout, it hummed! And that hum stayed with us.
🤙🏾 Track 02: Talking Stage - Long Lost Friends
From that first night, talking became our thing. Calls that started with "just checking in" and ended hours later, voice notes bouncing back and forth, memes shared at odd hours. It was like we had stumbled into a friendship that had been waiting for us all along. No airs, no walls. Just the rare kind of ease that only happens when two people see each other clearly and like what they see.
😍 Track 03: Shared Rhythms - Dates, Devotionals & Dreams
More dates followed, each one a little less guarded, a little more certain. Somewhere along the way, we decided to start a Bible reading plan together, thinking it was something simple to do, not knowing it would weave our hearts closer with every chapter. Milestone after milestone, not too loud or extravagant, but somehow perfect in simplicity, full of smiles, small surprises, and a sense that we were exactly where we were meant to be. The moment came when words caught up with feelings, and one question made it official: "Will you be my girlfriend?" The answer had already been written in every conversation, every laugh, every prayer. Yes!
✈️ Track 04: On the Move - Road Trips & Memories
Love for us never stayed still. We moved. From quiet towns to busy cities, from hidden corners of the country to new places that stamped themselves into our story. Road trips filled with playlists and adventures, we collected air miles and wove memories into the fabric of our blossoming relationship, knowing that every journey was just another way to say, "I'm choosing you."

It wasn’t just about us anymore. We began stepping into each other’s worlds, meeting the friends who knew the inside jokes, the families who shaped the people we have become. Some gatherings were big and loud, others quiet and intimate, but in every space, it felt like pieces of a larger puzzle falling into place. It was not just about falling in love, it was about being received, welcomed, folded into a wider circle of love.

Then came the plot twist that couldn't be better scripted. Dami helped AJ plan his holiday, picking dates, giving advice, wishing him safe travels, while she herself packed for Lagos. She had no idea that behind the scenes, he had already bought his own ticket, not for a vacation, but for a mission. With her friends and family in on the plan, he flew across the world, ring in pocket, nerves in overdrive. When he showed up, the look on her face said everything. Shock. Joy. Laughter. A thousand emotions at once. He asked. She said yes. And in that moment, every prayer, every late-night call, every mile travelled found its meaning.
💍 Track 07: Fiancé Era - First of all, Introduction!
The engagement chapter brought a deeper stillness, a quieter kind of joy. Our Introduction followed and we started dreaming in detail, laughing through logistics, planning not just a wedding, but a life. The conversations got longer, the prayers more specific, the love even steadier. Through the busy days and quiet nights, the new titles of fiancé and fiancée sat on us like a perfect, tailored coat, familiar, warm, exactly right.
✍🏽 Track 08: Signed & Sealed - Legal Love
We made it official. In the presence of family, friends and the law, the sacredness of a promise written in ink and sealed in spirit. It wasn’t the beginning, it was a continuation. Another beat in the song that had started quietly in London and kept building, deeper and louder with every yes. This yes an eternal one that will play on repeat forever.

The logo is a visual representation of our union, crafted with meaningful elements that tell our story. At first glance, you’ll see the initials D and J, united by the infinity loop. Look a little closer, and you'll notice a diamond placed on the stem of the D, subtly forming IDJ, to reveal Ìfe Dámi àti Jàrẹ, a phrase in Yoruba meaning the love of Dámi and Jàrẹ.
Encircling the design is an impenetrable rope, whose deeper significance will be revealed later, but it is rooted in the connection to the One who made our union possible. The rich gold colour of the primary logo reflects the city of pure gold, as described in the Bible, symbolising purity and the divine beauty of our love.
OLÚWADÁMILÓLÁ
"D" represents the bride's beautiful name 'OluwaDamilola', meaning "God has blessed me with wealth" in Yoruba.
It reflects the abundance, joy, favour, & sufficiency we have in our union. "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." (John 10:10)
ADÉJÀRE
J from the groom's name combines Adé (royalty), Jẹ (achieve), & Àrẹ (justification). Symbolising the sovereignty, royalty & vindication of our union, ordained by the King of Kings.
"You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession." (1 Peter 2:9)
RARE GEM
Diamond reflects the captivating beauty & strength of our union. It's remarkable interaction with light, brilliance, fire, & scintillation are like no other element. Scoring a perfect 10 on the Mohs scale, diamonds can scratch anything but cannot be scratched.
